just wondering if anyone out there has bought software for card valuations and inventory.

please advise who make where to buy, price and opinion.

I use vintagecardprices.com
One of the features of it is "my collection" that allows you to enter your graded cards with the cost, and then gives you a current running value based on the latest sale on ebay or any one of a number of auction houses.
Much like tracking your stock portfolio.
