Is this a "true" double die or machine doubling??

This is a reverse of a 1964-D Washington quarter.

There is doubling on the edge lettering especially "ES OF AMER"

Is this real doubling or machine doubling??image

I would think that is strike doubling.

Definitely strike doubling- if it was a doubled die, the tops of the A and the M would most likely show separation...
