more noob questions!

First let me thank everyone so much for all the advice I have received so far. I love this forum!
I have been following everyones advice as far as slowing down on my coin purchases. I haven't bought anything in a week! Thats huge for me! I will have to take the son into a coin store this weekend however to spend his allowance, but will do whatever it takes to not add to my collection. I have submitted my best 10 coins for grading to confirm that I'm doing okay, and as soon as I get them back (assuming all goes well) I will then start hoarding again!
I do have a few more questions if you don't mind, and I apologize in advance if they are too noobie!
TPG: I understand this means a top grading company (pcgs, ngc) but what does it stand for?
Reverse proof: obviously its a reverse of a proof coin, but what exactly is reversed?? Mirror image?
Crossover grading: I sent my coins into NGC to get the inital grade. After they come back can I send them to PCGS with instructions to only remove from the slab if they can give an equal or better grade, or do they need to get their hands on the coin to even get started?
My 8 yr old is sitting next to me and this is his question: He is almost done with his franklin set. He wants to do buffalo nickel's next. He already has some random ones, but can 20 bucks a week (time frame doesnt matter) eventually buy most of the dates/mint marks, with me buying the more expensive key dates for bdays, xmas etc..? As long as the date is readable he is happy with the coin!
My wife wants to know if all coin collecters are all crazy, or if its just me and my son! She caught him not eating lunch all week at school so he would have a few more bucks at the coin store on the weekend!
Thanks in advance for some answers!

I know exactly how he feels! I quit letting my wife eat lunch so I could have some more coin money.

Now there is the best advise I've picked up yet! Get the wife to loose a few and get more coins! A true winner!
