New busts from south shore show/report

I spent yesterday afternoon at the three day South Shore Coin Show in Milwaukee. I try and get to this show every year because, besides when the ANA or Central States comes to town, this is usually the largest in the area. Overall there were a good number of dealers but, in compared to other yrs, much fewer people. In fact I would say the bourse floor was more empty then any show I have been to in a long while. This may have something to do with it being a three day show and me being there on a friday afternoon, but still fewer people then I would have expected to see. It did make surveying the floor much easier though. Perhaps people are waiting for the ANA to come to town this summer. Several of the dealers I talked to were also commenting on the lack of activity and hoping it would pick up on Saturday.
It didn't take long to survey the cases, it has gotten to the point where for many of the dealers that hit the local shows I have nearly memorized their inventory. I mainly collect bust coinage and will only buy pieces with nice eye appeal. It seems like nothing new or interesting in this area ever shows up. I usually hear stories like you just missed some great bust quarters or you should have seen the 1795 half I sold yesterday. The early coins the dealers tend to have in their inventory all have problems and never seem to go away, I swear I have been seeing the same coins in some trays for 3 yrs.
I did meet two forum member dealers there (Foodude and james). They had some nice coins and full of good info. Foodude had an amazing array of Franklins and some really interesting morgans in some old cardboard advertising holders which had toned beautifully.
Overall I though I was going to leave the show empty handed until I started a conversation with a dealer in from another state who I had never dealt with. I expresed some interest in some bust halves in his tray. I felt they were decent coins, but more or less twins to ones I already had. He stated the he was having a real slow show and During are converation about the coins he he kept dropping the price. Eventually they fell so low I could not pass and they really were decent looking coins. I have posted the pics of the 2 1807 I got from him and a random 1808 I picked up on the floor.

The VF 1807 is O102 and the F 1807 is O110. If you are looking for a type set peice it seems like the O102 is a good choice, the reverse strike on the three O102 I have owned has been great. I am not an expert in minting techniques, however, the two 102's currently in my collection have smaller diameter, thicker plancehts and better strikes then all my other bust halves. Sorry about the long rambling post.
