He was born in 1858.
Grandpa was a construction company owner and stone mason
He built many stone houses in the Emmet County area of Michigan.
He also built the first bridge across the Bear River in Petoskey Michigan.
He died a couple weeks after being dragged by a team of runaway horses in 1906.
My Dad was just 2 years old when Grandpa died.
