I purchased Breen's Half Cent Encyclopedia today...

I did a search on this forum, and someone posted a thread about it. The reviews of the book were generally good. I should have it in the next week or so, and hopefully will have some time to write a review of it. Just letting everyone know!

Dear Lord,

I know it is not nice to ask for too many things but for the sake of this community here in cyberspace could you cause the US postal service to loose this book in transit, or maybe a small 2-4 week power outage at Longacre's house.

I do not wish to cause any serious damage but maybe a meteor could just graze his house and takeout his keyboard.

I ask for this not for me, but for the thousands of the members here who NEED YOUR HELP!

I agree. Some of these half cents are gorgeous and also very, very difficult to find. There are a couple I'm looking for that have been hiding so far.

I think you will be QUITE impressed. I've had my copy snce 1983, use it frequently, and still feel it is one of the best variety reference books on the market. The only down side is that it is too large and heavy to comfortably carry with you to shows.
