And this is such a coin.
Peace dollars are difficult coins to locate with rich, wonderful color and this date (and mint) is especially challenging.

    I'd go with some type of cardboard coin folder or album but will defer to those toning experts with more experience than me.

    That's within the toning and isn't a scratch.

    Doesn't look like album toning to me. I'd suspect, since it is a good date, someone put it into a separate envelope and stored it a way for a long time. These are, indeed, extremely uncommon with anything close to attractive toning.
