Widget Prices and Sales on E-Bay Down Lately?

Seems to me that things have slowed considerably on E-bay over the past couple of weeks. Some rather nice coins (PCGS, NGC) can be had for prices that I'm not accustomed to seeing?

Anyone else notice that prices seem to be weak on the Bay?

Yes IMO I have noticed the same thing in downward pricing on the bay, actually I have seen this for over a month now.

Strong money in what I track. I look at Key Date Lincolns, 1909S VDB, 1914S, 1909S, and the Matte Proofs, and the 1936-42 Proofs. All of which have been going for very strong money lately.

Re: Slabbed coins - There are some coins that LIVE within clear plastic and wear their labels with pride... while there are others that HIDE behind scratched plastic and are simply dragged along by a label. Then there are those coins that simply hang out, naked and free image

Let me restate a tad...nice widgets seem to be down lately, more so than I've seen in two years. I am an expert widget hunter...nice PQ widgets. Lots of em' on E-bay too...real cheap now.

Key's will almost never drop in value...sound investment.

I've noticed softness. Few watchers, few bids, but my sample if very small.

Same for bust half dollars. Lots of nicer slabs compared to winter but the prices are still healthy. It's a waiting game till some dealers might start dumping some stock. Mozin just got a nice one last week and you know how tight he is. Must have been too good to pass up.

Softer demand wouldn't hurt my feelings a bit. I hope the prices drop below face. image

Of course, these weakly specimens are a pair of claws that scuttle the ocean floor in comparison to the others............
