Unopened Packs from Kazoo64?

Anyone have an insight on Kazoo64 and his unopened material?

I won an auction for (8) 1981-82 Topps basketball from Kazoo a couple weeks back. The Ebay listing said that the wrappers had some tears but Kazoo thought the cards inside were OK. Well, when I opened the package I found 10 packs were sent to me, and a note saying that since the packs were in worse shape than he let on in the listing, that he sent 2 packs for free. I opened all 10 packs, pulled a Kareem and a Magic that are at least 8's, and some Erving SA cards and other semi-stars in nm-mt shape.

Now, 3 of the packs were identical and the only "name" player in those packs was David Thompson. So, I can't tell if he sent me 2 free packs because he was sincere about feeling bad about their condition, or if he sent me 2 free packs that he knew they had nothing in them, and he wanted to rope me in as a return customer.

I'm no expert on evaluating unopened, but based on the cards I pulled and their condition, I think the guy is legit.

I'd post scans, but I don't own a scanner (yet, but I'm getting one soon though)
