An apology for issuing me a " warning " in that other thread for something I had nothing to do with.

Just wait a little bit, k?

People's obsession with you on here is a bit creepy, jgarci. I'd just try and let it go. They probably wish they had your kind of $$$.
<< <i>For one who seems to have his lips planted firmly on garci's lower extremeties, I don't think you have a lot of room to talk about other people's creepy obsessions with him. >>
Who are you again? Why do you care to post? Still confused...
Edited to add: I am a known defender of modern collectors on here. It seems all the uppity "vintage" collectors on here have a problem with modern. And that is what genuinely confuses me - the passion with which vintage collectors obsess over modern collectors. Maybe it's because their vintage "gold" isn't all that it appears to be, especially when eBay has become so soft?
I dont know who you are, but I am here, laughing in your face.
I offcially dub you as* clown.
So from now on, all can use as* clown when refering to as* clown.
The more hysterical you get, the funnier it is to me.

Loves me some shiny!

Hi Travis, love your words of wisdom. Still curious regarding your obsession with jgarci's collecting habits.

When you get a couple days to kill, go ahead and search the forums for any comment I have made regarding garci's (or anyone elses) collecting habits. I would venture to say that 0 comments does not qualify for an obsession. And for the record, I am currently working on a Topps complete set run from 1981 to present, and unless vintage means pre-2007, I would appreciate not being described as prejudiced against modern collectors.
And on an end note - You did not ask for words of wisdom. You asked two questions and I answered them. I will be sure to give you the philosophical version next time.

There is very little attitude when it comes to vintage vs modern guys. In fact, a high percentage including myself collect both. I would love to see some proof where vintage guys are putting down modern collectors. And I'm not talking where people say what they would rather own for X amount of dollars.
Keep defending jgarci. The guy is an a$$hole. You only defend him because he has spent a lot of money with you. Business is business but when you defend someone with his actions/statements, it also gives to your own character. You may want to protect your own character.
Jgarci even puts down his fellow modern collectors so that statement is complete bull$hit. Take a look at MY thread in the buy/sell/trade for 1994 Pinnacle Museum cards. And I quote jgarci...
Man those cards suk.
If you want real action go for the 1994 Artists Proofs! They are alot harder to get.
Besides if you want some REAL Dufex action, Go for the 1993 Coperstown Pinancle Dufex's or the 1996 Pinnacle Showtime Artist Proofs!
The 1996's are very pretty!
Not much to defend there.
The whole McGwire debacle was a joke and was absolutely hilarious. It had nothing to do with a modern card and everything to do with the insane seller.

Exactly right. This has NOTHING to do with modern vs vintage. You're being very transparent jmbkb4.

PS - Your vintage vs modern collector does not hold any water, regardless how many times you say it's there. It's a figment of your imagination.
<< <i>You guys are directing all the usual hatred and disgust away from me, and I wont stay for it. >>
I'm receiving my usual idiocy on here, so perhaps we are par for the course? I'm sure they will throw in an "SGC sucks" comment to let you know they haven't gone completely brain-dead.

<< <i>Bri did you ever get that apology? >>
Youre joking right ?
He probably got confused reading the word apology. 4 syllables might have been too much for him to handle in one word.

I just wasn't sure if it had been a "little bit" yet.
