Mercury ErRoR ?

Has anyone seen this type of error it's a 1942-D Mercury dime.
The bottom/top of the 4 and the top of the 2 are doubled.

I think it's strike doubling, as the point and base of the '4' don't appear to be notched...look at a photo of a 42/41 P or D and you'll see what I mean...

Sold one just like it on the bay last week. Threw it in with a bunch of worns and culls.
I too thought it was strike doubling and not worth a premium.

I've seen lots. It's common on Mercs. Strike doubling.
