Thanks Mr. Weinberg
Received my 3 coins yesterday and wanted to publicly thank Mr. Fred Weinberg. Not sure if anyone read his reply to my thread about a coin I was looking at, but he offered to give me a sample "BIE" "Liberty" lincoln. He sent me three coins total out of the generosity of his kind heart.
One "BIE" one filled mint mark and one that has two errors listed on the 2x2. I am going to have to look at that one closely as I am not exactly sure what the errors mean that are listed on the 2x2. I have not had a chance to look at these coins through a loupe because I got them and had to go to bowling last night.
It was ironic. I opened my mail box and saw the letter from Mr. Weinberg with the coins in it. I quickly zipped it open and found the coins, what a shock, I then looked at the cover of my newest Numismatic News and lo and behold, the same person that sent me the coins is featured on the cover (bottom left corner of todays dated NN) of the magazine. A great little article about the no edged lettered GWs.
I must say, when a prominent and knowledgable numismatist like Mr. Weinberg sends you something for free and you then see his name in a publication, ... well, it was a neat feeling to say the least.
Thank you again kind sir and someday I WILL buy something from your website or your Ebay store (at the moment I have spent my allotment of money for coins for the next month or so, or my wife will hang me).

Hell, I don't need to exercise.....I get enough just pushing my luck.
Very nice gesture to send Rob those coins.
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
