Was complaining to a colleague about slow (no) sales.

He suggested it might be because tax time is around the corner. Any thoughts.?

    It's GAS prices going up........

Gasoline dictates all in the economy.......Bottled water is more expensive than a gallon of gas..,,,check it..!!

Not so much in the future...this is ludicrious.

Gasoline could go to 8.00 a gallon, and guess what?? your buying it buy the tank load.....why?

you will sacrifice to drive your auto , than other expedintidutres,,,..but investing in coins, will be your LAST think to invest in..

It's just coins...face value.....you will be stuck, and don't think some coin junkie will be coming to your rescue...it ain't happenin..

I feel for those who have all invested..especially commens....

Russ, your stuck worst than anyone on this planet.....your Kennedy's are wanted by nobody, ....old or new...they are worth .50 plain and simple..

    well, that's my opinion.......

lot of stuff has created a hold or sell for a discount situation for people.

also, it's just getting warm a lot of places, including here, and people are outside sprucing up.

If you're talking about sales of coins then I do not sense any slowdown or lack of sales at all.

I smell a previously-banned Forum member heading down the same path.

Coin sales are down here too. Dealers are selling coins from three wheeled
bikes and having trouble peddling down flooded streets. Coin prices have remained
higher than any creek in town

Let's try to get this thread back on course.

Just what is it that isn't selling?

March is notoriously a slow month in my industry.

i know a lot of people who would be giving up their cars at $8.00 a gallon and taking public transportation, heck as its approached, and exceeded $3 a gallon T (commuter rail) and bus ridership has risen 15-20% in the Boston Metro area.

The stuff I want is being taken to the same moon money as ever. Show me a dealer who says nothing is selling and I'll show you a dealer who probably has nothing but the same old schlock which is average for the grade at best.

I am not experiencing a slowdown this month, but I have had better material than usual.
