NT or AT? This one is tough...

Came across these auctions... did someone dump buckets of paint on their collection? I don't know, I guess I could be wrong.

Yeah I'm thinking AT also. I'm curious if anyone has any NT's with similar colors.

Wow, all "monster toned", with similar toning and colors.

Even I can spot the AT on these.

Looks like we have a Pattycake Baker Man at work, here.

Oh, well. The doom of the toning craze is being written as we speak. I sense a correction in the market a-makin'.

Not that the demand for nice toning will evaporate, but I think these sleazoids looking to make a dishonest buck off the overzealous toning freaks will eventually run themselves out of business, and they'll have to go back to whizzing their coins bright white again.

Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.

I had a few white silver coins that I neutralized in acetone, then sat on their edge in a shallow cardboard box. After a couple of months they were the same blue and fuscia color. After about a year they are turning a light olive green color.image

Guess he got his hands on an authentic fake repro, but at least he has enough class to admit that in the description.
