March special Pop

Bunch of junk for my registry sets (Puckett and 1991DS) and a few modern inserts w low pop's.

I must say I'm a little off at a few (5,7) and I think after 4SC sent a couple thousand DS the grading is getting tougher. That makes about 100 DS and I don't have as many 8's in the first 80 as this sub...but two 10's evens it out I guess (259 is pop of 2 and 209 is the first PSA 10!).

Offers accepted for anything I don't need for my registry sets.

The thing I'm most happy about......13 day turnaround (9 business days)...and the CST show was in the middle of this sub too. Well done PSA.

    Nice sub overall, especially the PSA 10 DS. When I subbed them a year ago when all the pops were low, I thought grading on them was very generous, especially for PSA 9s. Still, it seems like 10s command good money. Is that Stadium Club Puckett error scarce or did it go uncorrected?

    What can you actually do with something like this? You can't list it on ebay. No one wants to trade for it. I had about 50 of these type cards I sold as a collection a while back and think I got like $1/card for it.

    The DS I subbed last year seemed almost too easy to get a 9. I had a sub of 25 in the Nov. modern bulk special that was 1 (10), 21 (9's), 3 (8's).

    After 4SC subbed literally thousands in Nov.- Jan. I just figured I'd buy em at $5-10 for PSA 9's as he had to be making $5 a pop at $7-8 where I averaged buying. Then in December he started all of them at $10 and rarely, even if they didn't sell, does he drop below $10. image The market has been flooded with these as the pop report is up 40% in four months so I'm not paying $10 for commons anymore. Actually, I'm thinking of selling at $10 and I bet I can rebuy in 6 months at $5-7.

    The DS set I'm putting together is PSA 9, not 8's or 10's so I'll prob come out ahead on the sales as the 10's will bring $50-100 and the 8's will bring $5, lol. I just wish I had received more nines so I don't have to chase them on eBay.

    I used to be a dealer 10-15 years ago and so I have more registry singles than I can fit in an office and two garages, lol. I'll take a PSA 8 on a common every so often so long as its just one here and there. I prob just missed something or a corner got dinged in transit. I'll live.

    Edit: the puckett error was from a Skydome set I tried to sell when they first came out. I had it in storage and not sure about the rarity, but the pop report says 10 graded w six 10's and three 9's so they can't be too rare. There is a corrected version that seems to be more available just going by the pop report. I have about three PSA 10 in each.

    Was this submission sent in under the March special? If not, what type submission was it?

    It was the march special, I just didn't pay attention to the baseball only thing until after I sent in, assuming that's what you are about to address.

    One thing that is often overlooked is that if the outside of the box isn't marked properly it can mean added time. Did you mark service level correctly?
