Question about PayPal???? OT

I pay for all my Ebay purchases thru credit card with PayPal.From Friday thru yesterday, I had 3 different purchases from 3 different companies.I regestered a bank checking account with my credit card as backup.

I only keep a small amt.in checking account and when using PayPal,I forgot to hit other sources, to pay thru credit card.I have nowhere enough in the checking account to pay for it, so would they automatically use the backup credit card to make the payment.It shows everything was paid for, but only on one purchase says paid thru credit card?

Yes. PAYPAL pulls from the PayPal account first, then from the primary funding source and then will go to the backup source which is usually a credit card.

Many times I wished I could just specify the credit card but PayPal always leached my PayPal account dry before going to the card.

I believe they will take it out of your CC if not enough is in your bank account. But it would not hurt ot check with Paypal. Go to "Site" at bottom of paypal page if you can't find someone to talk with or find the answer.

It really is a trick on paypals's part and I think it is unethical. They should ask you what source do you want to use. Instead they auto fill your source as your bank account. If you don't change it to CC they draw it from your bank account. It has happened to me many times.
