A good story about a deal through this board

I am new to this whole thing and have been reading these posts for awhile. All the bad deals that have been posted lately has scared me from purchasing anything off of this board - until - downgoesfrazier posted the following about old time pictures (Link). I am always looking for different Gary Carter items and he had a few -- a few PM's later, fair price and got them on Saturday --- I am extremely happy with every part of the transaction and thought this board could use a good news story

Mike, there are plenty of good stories...heck, many more good than bad on these boards. But, the bad ones get more 'pub' sometimes. It was cool looking at your website to the "Kid". Congrats on the picture from DGF...someday I'll pick some stuff up from him too. Very beautiful images!

As they should. Using this board for cons is tantamount to treason. There's nothing worse than a violation of trust. I've dealt with some people who just flaked - no explanation; just never got back to me after I went through all sorts of work to put something together at his behest. I wouldn't do that for just anybody - I was furious when this ahole jerked me around, using the cloak of board membership as bait. I publicly outed him some time ago so I won't do it again now, but that is just wrong.
