Does anyone know when the release date for the 2008 Redbook might be?
Thanks.

I don't have a 2007, but I understand your sentiment. I get one every three to four years.

and anything Franklin.
Most of the local antique shops dealing in low-grade coins around me use it to price their coins. Anybody know if any series took a jump? I remember someone guessing wheaties would bump up a notch or two. I should send my son down to the local shop to pick up anything he sees before they up their prices to '08

hope this is more what you are looking for. I as well only buy one every few years like to have two of them one to keep and work and in the car and one to keep at my house with the coins. just what I do it might also be that I have only been seriously collecting for almost 2 years and still learning but just what I do. but I as well see no reason to get one every year unless you collect them as well as coins.
What is the coin value bible?
Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.

For Whitby:
Marine Proof PF-67 = $55
Franklin "Scientist" Proof PF-67 = $73
Franklin "Founding Father" Proof PF-67 = $65

You mean to tell me that the Franklins, the ones I bought at 33 bucks from the Mint just over a year ago, are now at 73 for the Scientist and 65 for the Founding Father at a PF67?
Thats rather impressive. Given that the perception I have seen is that the Marine Dollar has a bit more popularity than the Franklin.
Hmmm....Looks like those populations of under 160,000 for the proofs in the Franklins are making a diff after all.
Personally, I have always liked these coins....
