Isn't this a bit excessive?

I found this eBay auction for a 2007 NGC MS70 silver panda and the BIN price is $325

Granted, this is the only 2007 MS70 I can find on eBay, but isn't it a bit much? Anyone around here with better market info that can weigh in on this?

(edited to specify that I meant MS70 for a 2007)

It is hard to see how the buyers could live long enough to ever sell those coins for a profit!

I've learned to be very skeptical of BINs. A lot of them tend to be extremely high compared to what you'll pay in an auction setting.

I've heard hushed rumors that there are people who actually buy coins because they like them and don't consider the resale value!
    It's madness, I tell you!

Yep, but for something that should be or is common enough like this there's no reason to pay moon prices in a BIN unless you really can't wait. Paying BINs that are several several times greater than the likely market rate can also be considered madness image

I know, I know but, I just had to be a smart-ass. It's a curse I've got to live with
