I am a strong buyer of these in 65 and above slabbed all day long. They are underpriced. Here is a PCGS 65.

I really do not see them offered much... I think they are quite attractive and worth buying

Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.

  • Your picture shows the Mo mintmark, but can you tell me what the M on my 1955 5 peso stands for? Also, you probably know ... the 5's - I haven't seen a higher denomination - have on the edge INDEPENDENCIA Y LIBERTAD. Love those edge inscriptions. Hey, thanks.

Usually, but not always. There are numerous types which use just the "M".

Thanks, I really appreciate that. I like the look of the large M and small o. Are there many other-than-a-single-letter mintmarks? I have a French 20 franc with BB (Strasbourg), where the B's look double-struck. And there are those French symbols.... Thanks again. All of you folks are great!

I know the U.S. has Carson City (CC) mintmark, but i'm not sure if there are others.
