1969 Johnny Bench unearthed! New (old) photos!

I'm doing a game from 1969 and, I must say, it is among the finest in composition and player selection I have found. The game has 11 Bench images and 8 Rose images along with multiples of Banks, Lee May, Tolan, Perez, Santo, Billy Williams, Glenn Beckert--just to name a few. I pulled a handful of Bench images out as well as some awesome crowd shots from that hot, sunny June afternoon in 1969. Bench would hit his 11th homerun of the season that day, but the Cubs would win behind HR's by Banks and Williams. Great stuff...

Yes, that's HOF'er Lou Boudreau, the "good kid", interviewing Bench.
I hated to sell my MINT 9 '69 Bench late last year, but these will go some to easing my pain.
enjoy!

Awesome photo's! I will have to forward this thread to my mom. She loved the young Johnny Bench.

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)
