1975 Topps psa set

Hi
My 1975 topps psa set which is the #10 current finest set was recently up for auction on e-bay. Unfortunately it did not meet the reserve price, and now I am contemplating upgrading the set. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I should go about doing this? I really wanted to get about $9,000 for the set but the highest bid was $6800. Should I try to upgrade just the hof'ers and rookies? Do I need more 10's? Thanks for the advice!

ON ITS WAY TO NEWPORT BEACH, CA 92658
do you think you'd have a better shot of selling in at a venue like national where you would find collectors w/ big $$$ and very specific appetite for really nice 70's psa graded -ish?
if you don't need the bread hold tight and upgrade some more, that's always fun.
