Had fun opening packs today.

On my way home from work today I got caught up in some traffic so I decided to take a side route home. On that side route was a Wal-Mart, so I thought "What the hell, I'll stop in and see what cards they have". Well, apparently nobody goes there for cards since they had cases upon cases of Topps 2007 Series 1 Bonus Boxes. I had some cash so I decided to pick up two boxes worth. I just got done breaking them open and am now just 101 cards short of a full set. What was really nice is that I was able to put a big dent into my insert set needs. I also got quite a bit of duplicates now, including some inserts. (Unlock the Mick 5, Generation Now GN62, Own The Game OTG10, OTG15, Distinguished Service DS10, DS13, Wal-Mart WM6, WM10).

I was kind of frustrated with the Distinguished Service inserts as I got four of them in these two boxes with half of them being duplicates. On the bright side, I am nearly done with the Wal-Mart insert set for Series 1, and I only need one more Unlock the Mick. I think I'm going to pick up a few more boxes next week on my way home from work.

I know that someone on here was looking for a Derek Jeter card for his sun, I think it might have been goose. I did get one Jeter duplicate if he still needs/wants it. I have lots of 2007 Topps ready for trade so we can probably work something out.

In other news, the Complete Set of 2007 Topps Series 1 Red Back cards arrived today. I'm happy to have that parallel set out of the way.
