The mailman was good to me today!

Most of these are from trades with fellow board members. The Otsuka is the donation from Perkdog and the Adam Dunn Triple Threads card is a 5/9 and came from ebay.

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

I love the Spahn photo but I will never understand what a "stadium seat" has to do with a player. Game used cards are bad enough in that they have allegedly (because I think they fake) destroyed a piece of history but what does a hunk of wood from a seat have to do with Spahn?

I agree. Have you ever seen the Stadium Club ones that had dirt in them? I had a Piazza one and sold it for $20 but wish I would of kept it. Kinda funny. dirt. Anyone know what year those were? 1999?

    Because modern cards are stupid.

What is it that Richie Sexson is swinging? An air bat?

What "game" as an A did Piazza use that bat in since spring training is still going and this is his first season as an A?

That's a good catch...I didn't even notice until you said something.

  • I love how Spahnie is labeled with 1958 but the B hat was last worn in Boston during the 1952 season. Way to keep up with the times Topps!

Also, Mientkeiewic whatever's goatee looks like it was drawn with a pencil doesnt it?

Knowing a little about Spahn's restless, irreverent sense of humor, I think he would have loved this idea.
