    This Thread?

I've read enough and seen enough and heard enough over the years not to bother.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

I tried to buy a somewhat rare card from them a week ago, he had sent it to psa and it came back trimmed. He lowered the price from $800 to $400 and seemed more honest than I would have expected. A shady dealer would have it on ebay raw already.

  • I had contacted him about 3 months ago or so on a rare card he had, that also came back trimmed from PSA. Funny, it too was listed at $800, but he would only come down to $650. I couldn't pull the trigger on that.

I no longer buy raw cards from Verkman. I purchased a '74 Deckle Yaz that he described as mint. PSA-5 when I got it back. Same with several other things.
