WELL HERE IS A RARE 1914 unopened baseball tobacco pack. These are the same type packs that the famous HONUS WAGNER T-206 cards were pulled from. back in the early 1900's baseball cards came in tobacco packs and not baseball card packs. this TOBACCO pack is over 100 years old!!!!! This one has been graded and authenticated untampered with by GAI. They gave it a grade of 7.0 near mint. AWESOME JUST AWESOME

    lemme see...

1914 + 100 = 2014, right? Umm, I musta Rip van Winkle'd the last seven years or something. Can someone catch me up with the last six years of Heritage?

Here's what I emailed the seller:

Could you tell me how in God's green acres a card that was produced in 1909-1911 could end up in a pack manufactured in 1914? Nice job at hyping your auction with false info. Hope that sucker you are waiting for comes along soon!

  • The seller also uses a ton of his own shills and was picking these up a couple years ago when a fellow from NJ was selling them for an 1/8th of what he has this one listed for.....

You just have to love the times we live in. He's selling a pack of smokes that is nearly 100 years old yet the auction is still subject to all of the mindless online tobacco sales laws that aim to save us from ourselves. (And I want to meet the kid under 18 who would purchase this.)
  • love the last line of the auction.....

"THIS PACK IS NOT FOR CONSUMPTION AND THE PACKS VALUE OUTWEIGHS THE VALUE OF THE TOBACCO."

Here is a reply from the seller:

I apoligize if ive offended you. I also state in my auction clearly that this TYPE of pack was what the famous Wagner card came from. However, i can see your point, I will change the verbage. Thank you.

  • He's also selling this supposedly ultra rare

1965 "WHOLLY GRAIL "THE SAINT WAX PACK,etc, etc

Which was the year my wife was born, so I was going to check it out further for a possible buy.
Google search..Then back to his item...scroll, scroll

First line down a bit ""WELL HERE IS A RARE 1966 EUROPEEN THE SAINT WAX PACK"" guess I can stop. Arrrrgh

I just love sellers who represent or describe something which is different than their actual item.
Sig: Looking for a recent smr magazine, Please pm if you have one to recycle. Thank You
