My quarterly Standard Rant #574

Why don't sellers have the cahuntos to mention the QUALIFIER in their auction, especially in High Dollar Cards. The difference between a 9NQ and a 9OC is 6000 vs. 280. Of course if I were spending 6 large I would like to see what I am getting, but the seller should tell the whole truth.

Either they are
1) Stupid
2) Dishonest
3) So ashamed of their item that they cannot mention it

I already emailed him asking if the card was OC because it didn't state it anywhere.

I hate that. I get pissed when they do not put it in the title and I take the time to open the page to see not a 9 but a 9 (oc). To not put it in description is just stupid. I actually bought a PSA 9 1983 Tony Gwynn once and when I got the card, it was a PSA oc. I returned it and the ***hole neged me. He said I should have seen the picture, but the pic was not showing up it was just a little box. I do not buy from sellers that I see do this.

Because so many do this, I always check the scan or read the description.

I also hate when you have to search all over the place for shipping costs.

It could be worse. They could claim "GEM MINT 10!" or "PSA 10" and it turns out to be a no-name grading company. image
