Whites Eagle II

Hi, I saw this older Whites Eagle II for sale today. Had a Blue Max Deepscan 950 coil. The charger for the battery pack was included.
I did notice this was a pin pointer machine, which is nice. But wanted to ask the experts here if it is still a good one to get. I noticed
the battery pack was old, and can I also still buy replacement ones if needed. Thanks.

    Hey Andy!

    Is it this model?

If so, the responses there are likely more than you'll receive here. Not sure I've heard of anyone using one here, but who knows.

Hi, thanks for the link. The one I saw for sale is the blue version, not black. But the writing on the detector looks about just
the same. I'll wait to see if anyone one has an opinion.

White's Eagle II was top of the line in the late 80s.

I have two White's Eagle II Sl 90 (90 = The year 1990 model)I Use the BigFoot coil on one unit and a 6 inch coil on the other unit.
My Eagle's are the "black box" type with arm support cuff. Earlier Eagle II were "blue box" no arm rest.
New, they both sold for $800+ dollars.
Today...I would think the "blue box" unit could sell for $150 to $250. The "black box" $250 to $400.

    Good Luck
