GOETZ: K-24(a) Bronze Variety

K-24 Munich German Museum, 10th Anniversary Commemorative, 1913, Cast Bronze, 74mm, Wt.68.8g, UNC, in box of issue, RR.
Obverse: Bavarian Prince Regent Ludwig, bust left., as Protector of the museum. Inscription, “ Ludwig, Prince Ruler of Bavaria. The German Museum’s noble protector.”
Reverse: Worker and owl in huge gear. Inscription, “ 1903 Munich 1913.”
This is a little known early piece of Goetz’s and a dupe to my cast silver piece. I find it interesting that this piece was cast so thin in comparison to the silver example weighing in at nearly 120g. Nonetheless, I am very happy with it.
