I'm selling my '55 football cards

.......What would be the best way to do it???

I've got about 37 of them, a little over a third of the set, all graded in psa 6 and 7 with no qualifiers (okay, only a couple of 7's, the rest 6's). It's ranked 9th on the 1955 master set. Great looking cards, but I've decided because of the way the prices are going, I just don't have the patience and money to complete it.

Do you think I should list the cards in one lot, hoping someone wants them all??

Or should I take the time to list them individually on eBay to let others pick it apart for their sets??

I'd save time and listing fees by doing it all at once. The cards in my set have an SMR of $1000, but 6's have been selling above the $18 SMR for commons invidually.

I also thought about going to the Buy, Sale, Trade board here and listing them, but I feeling uncomfortable asking a penny over SMR to the guys here on the board.

Any suggestions?? If I ebay, do I do all of them together, list them seperately at once, list them seperately a few at a time, do lots of three or four??

Does it really matter??

Thanks, shawn

Back off, mine, mine, all mine.

Edited to add: Sorry to hear you want to part ways with your set. Perhaps taking a breather and seeing if prices settle down?
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

by the way, it took me about 2 1/2 or 3 years to finish it (now i'm trying to upgrade) between ebay (graded and ungraded), the national, and other top sellers, but it was a lot of fun and i think the cards in psa 6-7-8 and up, will hold their value as you can see the prices are up now. so the set a good investment and a lot of fun to put together, there are a lot of cards out there and you can get a buy here and there if your looking hard. re-think surrendering the set, it's a great set to collect.
