Pretty cool. I bet that thing will cost more than $70 to ship though.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

  • I bet this isn't even his grill...just him helping a buddy out. Leave it to Manny to do something like this.

Someone should bid on it with an extra account, request the user info, pull the bid and give Manny a call. See if his info is good. He just opened the account yesterday? Good to see that he is taking advantage of ebay's new program, with 3 free listings for new sellers. If you have heard the radio commercials people talk about having piles of cash all over the house, you know that stack of checks on the fridge, the Benjamins on the coffee table etc., finally a program that rings true for someone like Manny. Just like his real life.

you should send him a personal check so he will sign it. Frame that thing!

While he's at it, he can sell "1 outfielder's glove, worn during 2004 World Series, never used to touch a baseball".

This has got to be a scam right? What guy with millions that Manny has would waste his time listing a used grill? C'mon man!

    Two reasons

    1. As I mentioned earlier this could actually be a friend of Manny's and Manny is helping them sell
    or
    2. It is completely legit, but is accepted b/c it s Manny Ramirez

Okay, admit it! How many of you guys have already sent a "question for seller"?

How many steaks can fit on it Manny?

What was the last thing you cooked on it?

If I pick it up in person, will you help me load it on my truck?

Nelson de la Rosa was his name. They still talk about him a lot on sports talk radio in Boston three years later - I guess Sox fans just can't get enough of anything related to Red Sox....

  • One bid on the Grill.

I guess 6 bids ending at $4200. For bragging rights.

I wonder if he would scrawl his auto. on the lid.

  • WOW -Only a hour later its Now $4274 with 13 bids.

I took the earlier posted advice and contacted ESPN and Sports Collectors Daily. I remember seeing Dodgers R. Martins Corvette on ebay a while back. 25K I think they wanted.
