Removing tape residue

I bought some cards recently that were taped into an album. They were neatly removed, but thereis atill some tape residue on teh back. I tried teh usual solvents and had no luck, any ideas?

I have a feeling that there won't be an easy remedy for tape residue, but I may be wrong. There are tons of pre war cards out there with tape residue on them. If there was an easy fix, people would have fixed them before grading instead of getting back gorgeous looking PSA 2's.
