Wilford Jones known as "Crazy Ray" died Saturday Morning of heart failure. Jones got his start in Dallas Cowboy's third season in the old Cotton Bowl where the Cowboy's used to play.
I remember him on the sidelines whistling and just having fun in this cowboy outfit with chaps, cowboy boots and the whole nine yards.
He was a wonderful, kind man and will be dearly missed.

Thats sad. I was just watching some old vidoes and saw him goofing off on the sidelines image

  • I am a long time Redskins fan and remember all the times he would face off with Chief Z, the Skins unofficial mascot, on the sidelines. I am saddend to hear of his passing. He was awesome.
