1984 Donruss Mattingly BGS 8.5, could this cross to a PSA 9? (edit: Yup, it did)

Monster sized pic. I picked up an 84 set on Ebay recently which came with this. Think it might get a PSA 9 if I cracked it out and added it to my March submission?

Centering is exactly 40/60 t/b and 55/45 l/r.

Edit: My grades popped, and sure enough, I got the 9. image

I'm not planning on it. It'll be replacing my PSA 9 1984 Fleer Mattingly on the MVP registry with it.

Ok, pic added. I'm not sure what the "surface" grade is attempting to grade. The surface looks just fine. The card looks much nicer in it's new holder, and my MVP registry set. image

Looks good! Hopefully puts to rest some of the talk of BGS being "easy" especially since that was a newer BGS slab. To be fair, I've also seen a couple PSA 9's get the BGS 9.5. I see what could be a slight imprefection right of center on the top edge. Sometimes BGS will call those surface flaws instead of edge flaws which could explain the original surface grade (if I'm seeing it right).
