Thoughts from a recent show

It is amazing what the recent news of folks selling re-sealed wax packs will do to you when you go to a show. I was at a recent show and there were a few dealers there with pre 1984 wax packs. Now in fairness they might of been completely fine and me just parand but it makes one pay attention to the tables closer. The dealer with the largest selection of wax also had a sign on there table wanting to buy large box of common cards. Once again might be perfectly innocent but with what you hear now a days do you want to chance it. In the end... I went home and placed my order with Steve at BBCE. I don't kno about you all but I will pay a little extra for peace of mind.

  • I agreee. It's good to side with caution, but...I have several dealers that I sell my commons to for very cheap prices. Not only to move my inventory to make room, but a lot of them will do 300 count boxes with at least one game used card and sell them either at another show or in their store. Not sure if this is what you're talking about.

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

  • I would not of though much of it except the only thing this dealer had for sale was unopened material. I looked for some singles, grab bags, something to set me at ease so I could spend my money.
