Identical Elvis Grbac One of One

Let's just say this PowerSeller has a LOT of 1998 Pinnacle and Score One of Ones, that aren't listed in the Beckett Almanac.

I wonder if he added the "one of one" to the cards himself.

Is'nt 1998 too early for the whole "machine #" craze?
  • Bought my boys a Fleer exec. 1/1 signed by the ex Pres of Fleer. Then I saw one guy had 20 of these 1/1's but they werent auto'd. He bought them when Fleer went out of business and was selling tham as 1/1's and some people were paying big money for them. Sad.

  • I have seen 4 different copies of that same Grbac card, only they were Seau. All on ebay over the last year. 2 were sold by the same seller. There was one copy up on ebay last week. I saw it was bid up to around 50 dollars. A seau collector I know in australia was the second highest bidder. I emailed him to warn him that it was not a true 1 of 1. He said he knew and that he owned one already, lol. The folks at pinnacle brands must have had multiple copies of these things that escaped their control once they went bankrupt/under/out of business.
