photographers name needed 1971 Topps

Anyone know the photographer who is famous for taking perhaps the best photo ever used on a baseball card the photo of Thurman Munson on the 1971 Topps card #5

  • I did some reserachign on the photoagraphers name that you gave and couldnt come up with anything that said that he was the one . thanks for responding

    Go to gettyimages.com and type in his name. I don't see that photograph there but there is a simiiar one so I thought he could be the guy. Some nice actions shots.

    I no longer have this issue of Beckett, but I recall a very in depth review of the '71 set including an interview with Sy Berger, the set art designer, etc, etc. I'm sure that the photographer's names were in there too.
