    Hi Lee

Remember in 1991 when UD came out with the holos and people went nuts chasing the Jordan?

I thought they were kinda cool - next to the subsequent technology - the hologram just got left by the curb I guess?

    thanx for sharing

    I always liked hologram cards.

Especially those issued by Denny's and the 1994 Holoview's by Upper Deck.

Oh man, I forgot about the Denny's Holograms. I used to eat three Grand Slams a week to get those. That's when they were $2.99. I also ate a lot of Cracker Jacks to get the stupid wee Donruss cards.

  • DBH,

thanks for reminding me of one of my most prized memories -- 1993 in FL on vacation with my folks and brothers.

    Really, thanks.

Some of my favorite collecting moments were with family and friends at Denny's. Them ordering grand-slams and me getting the cards.

    Those were good times. image

Nothing builds goodwill towards man like memories of greasy food and baseball cards. I mean if it can bring jmbk and DBH together, world peace isn't out of the realm of possibility.
