Check these babies out!

A co-worker and I were discussing sportscards and he asked to see some of my T206. I brought some stuff into work and much to my shock, he brough these in today. He's not really a card collector, just a Vikings fan. He wants to have them graded by SGC so I'll submit them in my next sub. Enjoy!

    Nice.

    What's with the product motto:

    "The Wiener the World Awaited."

Sounds like a password phrase for a secret society of frankfurter aficionados. image

Not sure why my scanner distorted the images but they are in amazing shape.

Truly the wiener the world awaited.
  • You should change the title to: "Check out these weiners!"

  • jmbkb4 - I dont think they'll go that high. I havent louped them yet but I'm guessing about SGC 80 (6) or maybe 84 (7) if he's lucky. He is not so much concerned with the grade as he is with the encapsulation and presentation in the SGC holder. I was hoping he'd part with some but I think thats a lost cause.

Zef - thank you. I wish I could take credit for these little gems.

I'd be curious what the top two cards are, too. Gotta love the Vikes back in Tark's day! Wonder if I have any '60s-'70s Vikings stuff...

They are (if I have my years correct 1962, 63 and 64) Kahn's Weiners cards which are fairly difficult to find in nice shape.

Loves those Kahn's cards. Especially the '64 color set. One of the greatest Football cards sets ever made in my opinion.

I'm still looking for all the Packers in PSA 8 to add to my collection.

    Great stuff Southerncards!

  • If the cards were mine, they'd be the Topps Mexicans...these belong to a friend.
