The common libs in a 62 and the saints in a 63 should bring about $100 to $150 over spot on Ebay. That's the real world prices, you take them to a dealer and your going to get less.

Per Heritage, as of 8A this morning, the MS-62 $10's are worth $415, the 62 $20 Libs $750, and the 63 Saints $780. I think that these prices are more realistic than the PCGS price guide prices previously quoted.

Wholesale offers from a dealer are going to be close to melt value.

Ten $10 gold coins, plus ten $20 gold coins is approximately 15 ounces. Multiply current spot ($640 today, click on kitco link for latest) x 15 and add maybe 5% is about $10000 and that is what many dealers will offer.
    kitco current gold price

It will be difficult to find folks willing to pay the prices on the PCGS guide, and even at the Heritage prices the coins will be slow movers and need time and effort to find a motivated collector wanting to buy.

MJPM has current bid and ask on PCGS gold Saints and raw $20 Liberty gold. Currently showing bid $660 on PCGS MS62 Saints when selling to the company, asking $735 when buying. I believe, it will be very similar for $20 LIberties NGC 62, though that company may not make a market on them. AU50 raw $20 Liberties are bid $643 (just above spot) and ask $698. Of course these move closely with the price of spot gold (check kitco link above). MS63 Saints are currently bid $690 ask $785 at MJPM. This gives you a decent ballpark and a floor bid which you can always fall back on in a crunch.

So if I were to sell them, is this what I would get or what they're worth to a collector?

    What does this mean?

Not much over melt. Strictly widgets.
    All glory is fleeting.
  • Means the value of the coins if melted and sold as gold. Current spot * amount of gold *105% = $ 9935.62 as estimated above ^^

  • The gold content for the American gold coinage is as follows:
$20 Coin = .9676 ounces of gold so with spot at 650 you would apply the following equation: .9676*650=628.94 then multiply that by 1.05= 660.38 each
    $10 Coin = .4838 ounces of gold= 650 spot is .4838*650=314.47 multiplied by 1.05=330.19

The dealer I work with is currently Biding MS62 common date $20 Libs at $665 and common date MS62 $10 Lib's at $360

    Hope this helps.

Who is this dealer? Also, how much is he selling these for. The OP is talking about NGC slabbed coins.
