Need Advice on cards.... Please (BALL PICS. ADDED)!!

I know without seeing all the cards and the condition of them there is no way to give a perfect estimate. But what should this box of 50's-60's cards sell for at an estate auction or what should one bid ??

    Sorry.

I don't see anything special at first glance.

I used to sometimes bid on "stuff" like this on ebay which I determined wasn't a scam, but really I wasn't expecting too much either. It was entertainment money. One time, it wasn't listed or photographed in the auction, just card quantities were given, there were a good amount of EXMT type high number 1960 Topps, including Maris, Banks, and other All Star cards, so that was a very nice surprise. But normally these types of auctions are selling rags - the seller has usually already taken the items to at least a few local card shops, was offered "nothing" and so decided to throw it on ebay.

Good luck if you decide to take a shot - don't spend too much and don't expect too much.
  • If there's no stars mentioned, no more than $1 per card.

Of course it depends on the condition of the ball.

A Nm copy of a '59 Chicago (AL) - keys: Lopez, Fox, Aparicio, Cash, Kluszewski, Wynn will have a range of $350-525. Source: Standard Catalog of Sports Memorabilia - 3rd ed.

    Who's on the sweet spot?

Can you put the ball on your scanner and give us some shots?

I don't have the ball , it and the cards are both coming up in an estate auction . I was just getting ideas on what I should bid on these . I went back and got pics of the ball , here it is . They are a little blurry sorry , not my pics .

Appears to me that the ball is stamped, not actually autographed. They are collectibles that were sold at ballparks.
