Need Advice on cards.... Please (BALL PICS. ADDED)!!

I know without seeing all the cards and the condition of them there is no way to give a perfect estimate. But what should this box of 50's-60's cards sell for at an estate auction or what should one bid ??

Also there is a 1959 White Sox Team autographed ball , what should one bid on it ??

Sorry.
I used to sometimes bid on "stuff" like this on ebay which I determined wasn't a scam, but really I wasn't expecting too much either. It was entertainment money. One time, it wasn't listed or photographed in the auction, just card quantities were given, there were a good amount of EXMT type high number 1960 Topps, including Maris, Banks, and other All Star cards, so that was a very nice surprise. But normally these types of auctions are selling rags - the seller has usually already taken the items to at least a few local card shops, was offered "nothing" and so decided to throw it on ebay.
Good luck if you decide to take a shot - don't spend too much and don't expect too much.
Edit : Thanks for the info. guys !

Of course it depends on the condition of the ball.

Who's on the sweet spot?
