2007 Heritage Case Break...

So I finally got 1 of my case's opened and sorted. I was so disapointed with the lack of big pulls. I got the following:
1 Black Refractor (Capellan)
1 Auto Redemption (Hubber)
7 Game Used (Best of which was Frank Robinson) (all group C)
6 Chrome Refractors (all different)
27 Chrome (all different)
All variation Short Prints
105 of the 110 Short Prints
37 of the 42 Mantles
13 of the 25 AROD's
All of the New Age Performers
All of the Flashbacks
All but one of the Then and Now's (Missing #6)
3 Complete base sets, and 24 shy of a 4th.
The only good thing I can say about this years Heritage is I pretty much got a master set out of the case (minus 6 total). That is pretty good compared to last year. However the fact that I only got 1 auto and only 7 game-used all of which were group c (the easiest to get) just flat out sucks. Even if I would have gotten a red auto or auto/25 I would have felt really lucky given the long odds. I can say I feel lucky in the fact that I only got 2 triples of short prints out of the case. There is a good chance that I will be able to put together 2 and 3/4 of a master set with just 2 cases. If I can only get my second case i will be doing all right. Hey maybe I will pull the Mantle, Williams, or Maris cut. Who knows.
I really do think that Heritage is going to have to do something for next years set if they want to keep it going. I have been collecting Heritage since 2002. This is by far the worst big pull set of Heritage I have ever opened up, I bought my cases presale on ebay and to be honest I may not have if I would have seen the check list first. And if you look at ebay the boxes of Heritage are selling for under $50. That is a FIRST EVER! But even though all this negativeness about the chase cards is present it sure is one of the best sets overall to build every year... including this year. Well so far!!!
