Home Buy, Sell & Trade - Cards & Memorabilia

Hi...New to boards and question about posting?

Hi everyone,

I am new to these boards, but have been reading for a while. There has been some great insight and I have learned a ton about vintage. Since I want to start off on the right foot with everyone I was curious if it is taboo to post links to eBay auctions I may have running with vintage stuff or PSA stuff I just received that I want to sell? If this is not the right place then which board would be the correct place. Thanks in advance

Steve

    Steve,

Welcome! Either the BST board or the Vintage board is fine - the vintage board typically tries to stick to older issues, although I have no idea what the line is. image

edited to add: The stuff in your current auction is fine. Personally, I do better with "normal" stuff selling it right on the boards. As soon as stuf fgoes on ebay, I feel it is descounted somewhat - unless it is a higher quality piece. Price items realistically here, and you can do a lot of business with people who know their stuff .. uhh ... present comapny excluded. image

  • Thanks Wondo! I appreciate the fast reply. I am getting in about 100 cards from PSA by the end of the week so I would like to try and help out people who would really appreciate the cards or need them for sets. I will definitely post them when I get them in then. I look forward to contributing to these boards the best I can image
  • What are you getting in...any 1933 sport kings? If so...what cards, what's th egrade, and how much do you want for it?

Thanks in advance for your help.

The ONLY Sports Kings stuff I have is just the Jack Westrope which I have on eBay, which is in poor-fair condition. The stuff I am waiting for from PSA is some 1933 Goudey then it jumps up to 1957 Topps - 1964 Topps Baseball with some 1962 - 1964 Topps Football and Philadelphia cards. If you are looking for anything please feel free to drop me an e-mail. My e-mail is: ddeld@aol.com

    Thanks

Personally I love to get a link to a members auctions. Welcome to the boards, one thing to touch on is you might want to PM someone that has been around for awhile to maybe get an idea if someone is legit or not if you decide to do bussiness with someone here that is new.

Edit to add, the reason being is there has been a rash of guys getting ripped off lately. Just throwing that out there..

Steve, I might be interested in some 60's football that you have. Some raw cards
that you didn't think worth grading. Or some cards that you sent for grading and
you missed something in the 5-6 range. Let me know if you have any.
PM or e-mail me at twodueces22@yahoo.com

Oh, One more thing. Welcome to this madhouse!! It's a madhouse!!!
