I give up on trying to get an '07 Jeter, anyone want to trade?

I bought ANOTHER stinking 20.00 box today and NADA!!!!

My boy and I would like to get a couple of the Jeter cards.

We have a large stack of stuff.

We'll trade for them if anyone's interested.

I could be wrong, of course, but I am CERTAIN that
card is not going to have much value, real soon.

Random packs from WalMart were still yielding the
card, on Saturday and Sunday. IT IS not RARE or scarce.

My neighboring biznez friends have pulled more than
a dozen of the cards since the day the hype began.
I pulled two on far less than half-a-box of random packs.
    (Dumped on EBAY the first-day.)

Patient folks should be able to get all of them that
they want within a couple of months; at TINY prices.

Folks who want to continue to try and find one should
consider selecting random packs from opened boxes.

    Storm...

    I realize that.

I'm not willing to give away the farm for him because of that.

Actually, once Topps starts producing the Factory Sets with the "corrected" cards in them I'm assuming that they will start using those in their packs as well. So I think that when the factory sets are out you'll see less of the "error that isn't an error" Jeter card out there.
I collect the elements on the periodic table, and some coins. I have a complete Roosevelt set, and am putting together a set of coins from 1880.

if you're referring to me, you needn't.

as I stated, I'm not going to give the farm away for the card and as someone stated they ARE common.

Well if you're buying up $20 boxes just for the one card, why not just buy one for the current going rate of about $20?

    Good luck though, either way!

Also, from what I understand Topps has already printed all the series 1 cards that are being packed out, so the only place you'll see any "corrected" version would be the factory set.

Maybe I should ask my friend Dick Robinson (I usually buy my Topps sets from him; I'm still lacking the 2005 and 2006 models) to save me a Bush/Mantle Jeter card for my 2007 set?
