Just about to get my 1st neg

Oh well, never mind it couldn't last fore ever. 454, 100% 820 positive transactions. Some may remember the sad episode when I was scammed on ebay by a young scrote image Well I won the claim through Paypal but as the young scrote had no funds I just got the paypal compensation. I have legal cover insurence which I have put a claim against and hopefully they will sue the little sh!# but in the meantime his selling stuff on the bay again. I phoned paypal to see if he receives any fund would I see any of it and the reply was "case closed" so hard luck. image

So I've left a flaming neg on his account and just awaiting a similar action from him.image

It's sad when one jerk ruins it for you when YOU did nothing wrong.
It's sadder that Ebay allows the offender to do this to you image

As eBay told me back when I got my first negative, "It's just a battle scar that shows you have been around eBay long enough to take a hit". I now have 9 negatives and 16,408 positives and although they still bother me, I have learned to roll with the punches. If you sell on eBay long enough, you will invariably run up against the nut cases and scammers.

You should have held the neg until the 11th hour of the 59th day, that would have given him no time to retaliateimage

    May I make a suggestion:

Pull up his contact info & call him.... (If) the # is disc / fake REORT him to eBay & they'll pull his acct so fast he won't get a chance to neg you ;(
  • I have earlier reported him to ebay after talking to paypal. Before when I'd lodged the complaint I was alway redirected to paypal and it appears they don't talk to each other about claims to paypalimage The info he had given to ebay when he set up his account was false. I managed to get his address etc from another seller.
