What can I expect to to spend to get my entire 63 fleer set graded?

I signed up for a gold membership years ago...had a bunch of modern cards graded cheap...all 8's and 9's and lost interest in getting anything else graded. Now I am feeling the itch....Would you all explain the best (most affordable) way to get some nice vintage cards( 68 ryans, '63 rose ) as well as an entire 63 fleer set that probably averages in the 8's IMHO.

How about some scans of the cards?

Would be nice to see. On the submission thing? I recommend ya watch for the specials - I don't submit so I don't even know what the special is right now?

    Good luck on the subs!

  • hey mike...I will review the thread on submitting pics and try to get some good pics tomorrow. My 63 rose is a 9 0C to me, but I look at everything thru rose color glassesimage

Blaze. If you do the scanning and have any problems at all, PM me and I'll help.

If you don't use a hosting site and have a problem with file size - email them to my address below and I'll resize them, host them and PM them back to you with the URL address or if ya want, I'll just post them in this thread.

  • thanks..
btw, are there any collectors of the sporting news? I have many complete years and think they are very cool (and undervalued)
  • Blaze42....if you're going to grade the entire set at once, contact customer service 1st and they may give you a little break....that way you won't have to wait for a special.

  • thanks...I get concerned about trimming, and before submitting will check sizesimage
I have some concern about centering too... FWIW, here is the '63 rose that is supper nice except for the imagecentering. I am showing the psa7 next to it for comparison purposes. Ckeck out how clean and bright the back is....
