Chantilly, VA Show This Weekend

Anyone have any feedback on these CSA shows lately? Are they worth attending, especially from a vintage card perspective? How might this show compare to either Fort Washington / Reading, or the Chicago Sportsfest (also this weekend)? Thoughts and comments are appreciated - thanks!

I usually make the 90+ minute drive at least once or twice a year. They don't get the national dealers that go to Reading, more of a regional dealer show.

From a vintage card perspective - More ungraded than graded. The number of dealers who have a decent amount of quality vintage graded cards you can probably count on one hand. IMO Reading is a better show to sell to dealers, Chantilly is a better show to buy.

Is that show the weekend of the 17th or the weekend that just passed?

It's this upcoming weekend, the 16th, 17th, and 18th.

Cool. I have not been to the show in a while, but it used to be a pretty good one. It seemed to have started to fade somewhat and I have not been for a few years but may give it another shot...

The lineup of dealers sounds decent enough, but the show is running the same weekend as Chicago sportsfest - which made me wonder whether any national dealers or larger East coast dealers would set up there.

IT is a great show if your into local stuff ,not much vintage however

Always a ton of REDSKINS items so i am ok with it
