WTB 1908 coin necklace

My great-grandma is going to be 99 this year and I thought it would be cool to give her a necklace with a coin from the year she was born. Probably not gold, but a barber dime or indian head cent would be great!

Does any one know where you can buy something like that?

Thanks! image

Obvious place to look is Ebay. Search for "necklace 1908" or "necklace 1900" or bracelets.

Another idea is to look for a love token with her initial(s) or name.

If you strike out there, you can easily buy a coin and roll your own.

Here is a site that sells silver bezels at a reasonable price:
    bezelco

You'll also need a chain, however, for silver, you'll probably looking at less than $25 depending on how nice a coin. 1908 dimes are easy to find, however, if the chain and bezel are new, an XF/AU coin might look better than a low grade coin. Because it is a jewelry piece, it is a time to consider a polished or cleaned coin at a steep discount.

Samuel, not my auction, but fits your description:

eBay 1908 cut out cent necklace

The only other thing I saw as a rather expensive gold 1908 $5 pendant
    1908 $5 gold
