Has any one here ever bought a box of Topps Triple Thread?

If so what did you get and was it worth the money?

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

Yes, I bought a pack last year after reading about them here. I can't recall exactly what I got, but I do know that I was fortuneate to have gotten a David Wright/Miguel Cabrera/Jason Bay Relic and Autograph White Whale card. I promptly turned around and sold it on E-Bay for a fancy profit over the cost of the box. In addition, I got a Triple Relic Combo of Piazza/Bagwell/Rolen with a piece of Piazza's bat and Bagwell/Rolen's Jersey. I still have the Triple Relic. I also got a few other #'d parallels of the basecards so I think I did pretty good. The box ended up costing me nothing because of the sale of the White Whale card and the thrill was all in the hunt. Yeah it hurt paying that much for two packs of cards, but it was nice knowing that there would be at least something of value in there regardless of what I got. I'm still wondering if I should pick up another box this year, but I think I have a lot of other things I need to spend my money on. image
I collect the elements on the periodic table, and some coins. I have a complete Roosevelt set, and am putting together a set of coins from 1880.

Looking for Jonny Gomes cards, especially Triple Threads and printing plates. Will consider all cards, though. Got something? Contact me at c_u_l_1@yahoo.com

I think it was that thread which got me interested in buying a box. image

I just bid and won a Adam Dunn Gold numbered 5 of 9 for $20.00 including shipping image Being a big Reds fan and Dunn in particular I am pretty happy.

This will also give me a chance to better evaluate these cards as I have not seen one before. Here is the sellerrs pic:
