Old baseball stories

I just read an interesting account of a player named Moses Yellowhorse - a full-blooded Pawnee Indian who was a pitcher from 1921-22 for the Detroit Tigers. I know that it may not be entirely factual, but I think the best stories are the ones that have some imagination.
Anyway, I thought you'all might enjoy:
The story tells of Yellowhorse pitching againts the Pittsburgh Pirates and facing Ty Cobb for the first time. Cobb was crowding the plate and sputtering racial slurs at YellowHorse; the latter shaking off four signs from his catcher and then plunking Cobb between the eyes; and the Bucs rushing to protect their pitcher when the Tiger bench erupted.
Ahh, baseball the way it was meant to be played...
